Location: Reading

The Care & Support Department are seeking an Activities Assistant to support, promote, develop and undertake resident activities and community initiatives for our older residents across the extra care scheme.

Key responsibilities of this role are to ensue the people in your care are content and safe; you will help our residents to get involved in stimulating activities such as recreational and social events with focus on creative arts both inside and outside the home. You will also be required to participate in fund raising events promoting and crating new funding opportunities to help bring new activities and initiatives to gratification.

To be considered you will have good all round education level including maths and English of ideally NVQ level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care. You also must have previous experience of working with vulnerable older people.

Please note that this role requires the use of a car; therefore you should have own car and a full UK driving licence.
