We are looking for a Deputy Team Leader who is able to demonstrate significant experience at a senior level within development management in a local planning authority. As a Deputy Team Leader, reporting to the area team manager you will be responsible for managing a varied case load of planning applications and appeals, monitoring of team caseloads and allocation of work, supervision of junior staff and deputising for the team leader. You will be able to demonstrate experience in all aspects of the role.
You will be able to demonstrate good analytical, reasoning and report writing skills, good communication skills, well organised, good IT skills, and be able to work both on your own, but also as part of a team.
