Earlsmead Primary School is an inclusive and diverse 2 form entry school full of lively exciting children who love to learn. Our Governing Body is seeking to appoint a well organised and efficient person to Clerk at the Governing Body meetings. The role will include taking and distributing minutes, assisting committees with the preparation of documentation and communicating to various groups including other governing bodies and the Local Authority. In addition, there will be additional duties as requested by the Chair and Headteacher. You should have undertaken relevant training or be willing to do so.
The Full Governing Body usually meets once a term. The meetings are held at the school and are currently in the evening. We would estimate that the Clerk to the governing Body would work approximately 100 – 120 hours per annum. Our highly dedicated and supportive Governing Body are looking forward to working with an enthusiastic and committed Clerk who is able to support them in the continued success of Earlsmead Primary School.
