Specific Knowledge, Experience, Skills and Qualities Required:
Our graduate programme focuses on giving the right people structured development aimed at ultimately improving the passenger experience and encouraging people to use public transport. You will gain in depth knowledge and practical experience through a variety of placements and formal training to develop
your career within GMPTE.
The role of Trainee Accountant will allow you to develop and apply knowledge and skills and experience in all aspects of financial accounting, management accounting, financial reporting and auditing to assist the Finance and Audit and Assurance teams.
To be considered for this role applicants must have recently achieved, or be expected to achieve a minimum 2:2 degree, preferably in relevant subjects such as Accountancy, Business, Finance, Maths, Economics or a similar discipline. You should also be able to demonstrate skills that support GMPTE’s values of Delivery, Partnership, Ambition, Respect and Responsibility.
