Specific Knowledge, Experience, Skills and Qualities Required:

Our graduate programme focuses on giving the right people structured development aimed at ultimately improving the passenger experience and encouraging people to use public transport. You will gain in depth knowledge and practical experience through a variety of placements and formal training to develop
your career within GMPTE.

The role of Communications Officer will allow you to learn, develop and apply knowledge, skills and experience in accordance with the graduate trainee development programme in order to assist with the delivery of effective communications to internal and external stakeholders, maintaining and enhancing the reputation of the GMPTE and ITA.

To be considered for this role applicants must have recently achieved, or be expected to achieve a minimum 2:2 degree, preferably in relevant subjects such as Media, Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or a similar discipline. You should also be able to demonstrate skills that support GMPTE’s values of Delivery, Partnership, Ambition, Respect and Responsibility.
