Your opportunity to make a difference to the people of Gloucestershire!
The Temporary Staff Register supports County Council managers by arranging temporary placements on a short term basis. This means managers can continue to deliver essential services to local residents when faced with immediate staffing problems or dealing with time limited project work.
During a time of unprecedented change, the Council has the need for both Social Workers and experienced Field Work Support staff (FSS3’s) to cover short term assignments and support the adult services teams in meeting immediate staffing needs.
Joining our register would provide you with the opportunity to join our multi-agency teams; Gloucestershire County Council is at the forefront of the development of integrated teams working alongside our health colleagues. We can offer efficient systems, good support networks and an excellent working environment. All necessary training for the role covered will be provided. Join us in making a difference to adults around the County with the opportunity to work in a variety of roles.
These positions will be subject to an Enhanced DBS Check (fomerly known as CRB).
For further information please contact Deborah Greig, Head of Adult Social Care on Deborah.firstname.lastname@example.org or contact the Temporary Staff Register Team on email@example.com .
Interviews will be held in January 2014.
Gloucestershire County Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people or vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
