With significant progress already made, our Fostering and Adoption service is on a journey towards excellence. To achieve the best possible outcomes for our children in care, we need to continue our modernisation programme.

Your business acumen, dynamism and inspirational management skills will lead that change and help us make it work. Responsible for a team of five Team Managers, your recent direct management experience within fostering or adoption services will come to the fore. And, championing fostering and adoption priorities in the implementation of the Children & Young People’s Plan, you’ll need a good working knowledge of strategic and operational social care issues, together with legislative change.
