Registration Service Clerk - THIS POST IS TEMPORARY TO COVER MATERNITY LEAVE

Gloucestershire Registration Service has a vacancy to cover maternity leave from the end of February.

Suitable candidates will be used to dealing with the public, both in person and over the phone and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. The role includes administrative and clerical tasks to support the registration service. This involves producing copy certificates, covering reception, the administration and co-ordination of marriage and civil partnership ceremonies and checking citizenship paperwork. General clerical office experience such a filing, faxing, photocopying as well as experience of handling money and receipting will be required.

You will be based at the Cheltenham Office although there will be the requirement to work in any of the Registration offices in Gloucestershire which include; Cheltenham, Cirencester, Forest of Dean, Gloucester, North Cotswold and Stroud.
