Assessing Kinship foster carers and supervising foster carers.
We are on a journey developing our service dedicated to improving outcomes for the children and young people of Gloucestershire who need fostering. We are looking for a committed and well motivated individual to join us and support this developing service. This is a time limited post and will focus on the assessment and support of Kinship foster carers.
You will need to be a qualified social worker with good interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to work independently. You should have experience in child-care social work. Experience in assessing foster carers is desirable and good assessment skills are essential.
We will offer you regular supervision, workload management, ongoing professional development and good experienced team support.
