The Park Children’s Centre is looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and caring Early Years Assistant to join our team.

You will have a basic knowledge and understanding of :

• Child development patterns and a range of experiences that will support children’s development • Planning & implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework

• Preparing & maintaining appropriate environments to meet children’s needs

• Communicating effectively with children and their families both verbally and in writing

• Being adaptable and working with others, including professionals from different agencies

• Safe working practices and health & safety issues

• The roles that different agencies play in supporting children and families

An understanding of the Children’s Centre ethos & your role in contributing to the work of The Park Children’s Centre is desirable. Fixed term to 31st March 2012. 19 hrs per week – term time only
