Temporary appointment or secondment opportunity until 30th April 2010.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Library & Information’s new Development & Access Team. The successful candidate will have a lead role in supporting and organising our services for health and wellbeing.
Responsibilities will include working with a range of partners including Primary Care Trusts, GPs and Adult Care services, providing audience development and outreach events and supporting specialist services such as library clubs and services to visually impaired people.
We are looking for someone who will relish the opportunity to demonstrate the significant difference that libraries can make to the health and wellbeing of the community.
Previous experience of working with specific client group eg older people, children & young people, people with disabilities, BME communities etc is essential.
