The Family Link service recruits, assesses and supports carers (similar to foster carers)to provide short breaks for children and young people with disabilities.
The team of 5 social workers and two Family Support assessors requires a deputy team manager to work alongside the team manager in developing the service in line with the Aiming High agenda. The right person will be a qualified and registered soccial worker with experience in social work with children and young people, preferably with experience of fostering and/or work with disabled people. Experience of supervision will be an advantage.
We are a growing service working closely with OTs, other health colleagues and social workers. The post involves some working outside of normal office hours.
