We are looking for a
Temporary Teaching Assistant Level 1 including Midday Meal Supervision
This post is initially to 31st March 2010 with the possibility of becoming permanent
Teaching Assistant Grade 1 × 25 hrs per week term time only
£12,749-£13,122 pro rata = £6.61 per hour rising to £6.80 per hour
Midday Supervisary Assistant x 5 hours per week term time only
£11,995-£12,376 pro rata = £6.22 per hour rising to £6.41 per hour
Saxon Mount School is a special school for children and young people with autism, communication and associated learning difficulties.
The main responsibility of the post is to support teachers in the delivery of the curriculum by supporting pupils and preparing resources. No formal qualifications are required, however candidates should be able to demonstrate an understanding of working with children with special needs and they will need to be literate.
