We are looking for an experienced social worker/senior practitioner to work alongside IT colleagues to revise our Integrated Children’s System (ICS) recording tools, update our Operational Instructions for this area of work and help frontline teams with the implementation of the new recording tools and ensure that recording is an integral part of the social work process and supports best practice.

In order to fulfil the requirements of the job you will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Experienced children’s services social worker
• PQ Child Care Award ( or working towards)
• Good understanding of CareAssess and Integrated Children’s System
• Excellent understanding of Assessment Framework
• Excellent written communication skills
• Ability to coach and enable others

This post is fixed term until May 2010.
