The Anti-Bullying Team for East Sussex is recognised as a national leader in developing Anti Bullying practice. Working closely with the existing Anti-Bullying Caseworker you will provide direct support to children and young people who have experienced racist incidents and racist bullying, including support to their families and carers a range of support and guidance to young people affected by bullying behaviour. You will:
- Have an understanding of approaches to address discrimination, prejudice and racism
- Be highly motivated with an ability to resolve conflict
- Work with young people to raise self esteem and build resilience
- Have experience working with children, young people and their families
- Have the ability to relate to young people, parents/carers, school staff and range of other professionals
- Have excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
