TECHNICAL SERVICES ASSISTANT

(Semester-time only – 24 weeks per year, 35 hours per week)

Salary in the range £21,120 to £23,265 p.a. inc.

The University of East London is a dynamic and rapidly expanding university at the heart of Europe’s largest regeneration area and adjacent to the site of the 2012 Olympics and Paralympics.

The Media Production Services (MPS) at UEL’s Docklands Campus is a comprehensive production facility, serving the needs of students in the School of Arts and Digital Industries and other Schools based on our Docklands Campus. We are seeking a new colleague to support a wide range of activities within this lively service, including issuing equipment and consumables and setting up equipment and rooms for teaching demonstrations.

You should be educated to GCSE standard (including English Language) or equivalent, degree desirable. Relevant experience is essential, together with good communication and IT skills and a strong customer focus. Knowledge of multimedia production equipment and techniques is an advantage.
