The Faculty of Health Sciences at Staffordshire University is a vibrant and forward thinking Faculty, with a reputation for excellence in professional education, achieving 3rd Place in the Guardian’s 2012 League table for our Nursing and Paramedical undergraduate courses. Currently we are seeking to appoint an outstanding and dynamic individual to develop, grow, support, maintain and supervise service users and carers within the Faculty. The role is one which will enhance the Faculty’s provision of Service User and Carers involvement in the development, delivery and assessment of our course.
You will join the University at a time when health care education and delivery is undergoing rapid change and we are looking for an individual who can work effectively and flexibly with partners, staff, students and carers and users, to ensure our course provision at both undergraduate and post graduate level meets current and future expectations of all our partners.
You will need to have a good understanding of how health and social care policy relates to professional education and must have an experience of being either a service user or carer. In addition you must have excellent communication and organisation skills and be IT literate.
This post is offered on a fixed term basis for 12 months, working 18.5 hours per week. A CRB check is required for this post.
