Senior Online Tutor- Computing & IT

Provide strong effective leadership, management and communication to a remote team of online tutors working together in managing the programme(s) effectively.A commitment to teaching and delivering the subject matter in an exciting, engaging and innovative way with the student experience always as the central focus.To have overall responsibility for the teaching, assessment and quality management for a portfolio of online programme(s). Responsibilities will also extend to identifying new programme/module opportunities and/or enhancements to existing programmes and commissioning such work in liaison with the Academic Manager. To motivate and support online learners in producing positive outcomes through innovative learning and teaching methods. An in depth academic knowledge and understanding of the subject is required. To be responsible to the Academic Manager (AM), providing academic excellence and programme cohesion across all modules within the suite of programmes of responsibility.
