Location:Shared Services Department, 1st Floor, Sandyford Campus, Sandyford Road, Newcastle upon Tyne.
We are looking to appoint a Procurement Administrator to work within the NCG Shared Services Department Newcastle upon Tyne. The Procurement Department is responsible for the day to day purchasing within NCG, which includes Newcastle College, The Intraining Group and West Lancashire College.
The ideal candidate would have previous experience of working in a similar environment.
The Procurement Department is a customer focused function which aims to provide a high level of service to all stakeholders of the NCG, both internal and external.
Specific duties include issuing purchase orders, booking travel and accommodation, processing new supplier requests and on-line purchasing.
You will have effective administrative and IT skills, particularly using word processing and spreadsheet packages. You will ideally have previous Procurement experience, possess good written and verbal communication skills, be a team player able to work to deadlines and deal with changing priorities.
