Press Officer

We are looking for a dynamic, motivated individual to play a pivotal role within our Press and PR Team. You need to be capable of developing and implementing media relations and related PR campaigns which support BU’s Visions and Values and reinforce our institutional reputation.
This is a key role within our team and you will be responsible for managing daily news activity, placing articles and responding to current news topics with informed comment via a range of communication channels. We are a diverse organisation with a lot of different messages and as part of this role you will be managing our news schedule, reacting to media requests, building strong media links to foster excellent relationships for future and assessing media coverage and tone.
