To initiate and undertake and publish innovative, high quality scientometric research. To initiate and support applications for external funding, assisting with bid writing when appropriate. To participate in teaching and the supervision of doctoral students, ensuring a safe, ethical working environment for research. Those with a PhD in an area related to Library and Information Science and with experience of scientometrics will be considered. You will have a working knowledge of statistics and an ability to program. Good communication and team working skills are essential, and a knowledge of disciplinary issues relevant to research in all areas of science would be an advantage.
