Part time Lecturer in Hairdressing

We are looking to recruit a part time Lecturer in Hairdressing on a flexible basis to respond to fluctuations in course demand and to provide cover within the department. A range of hours are available. This part-time post would be ideal for someone wanting to continue their career in a way that suits their other commitments.

With experience of working within the hair industry you will have an awareness of and the ability to implement good practice to inspire young people to achieve their potential.

Teaching up to Level 3, you will deliver engaging, high quality, flexible programmes of study.

With a relevant minimum Level 3 qualification, you will preferably be a qualified teacher with practical teaching experience although this is not essential. If you do not currently have a recognised professional teaching qualification, you must be willing to obtain one with the support of the College. Highly developed communication skills will also be key, and above all else you must be committed to supporting students in working towards their ambition and fulfilling their potential.
