Part time Lecturer A Photography 0.2 FTE (Maternity Cover)

This post involves the post holder working with the Course Leader to develop, deliver and assess within the Photography programmes offered within the Digital Media Section including HE, FE and full cost.

This post requires sound specialist knowledge of Photography, including theory, current industry practice and technical knowledge of relevant industry standard software as well as studio and location lighting skills. This role requires a positive and proactive approach to teaching. The successful candidate will provide a strong focus on a differentiated learning experience. You will work closely with the Course Leader to develop, deliver and assess within these programmes within the School of Creative Industries.

You will liaise with the Course Leader and course team to promote high levels of retention, achievement and success. You will carry out assessments, tutorials and moderation in line with curriculum and quality requirements. The successful candidate will have a related degree level academic/vocational qualification in a relevant curriculum area, a teaching qualification as well as some relevant creative industry experience. Your hours of work will be flexible and may include evening and weekends according to student demand.

This is a fixed term contract to cover maternity until February 2014.
