Ref: 4067 Two Cleaners are required at Woodhey High School, Bolton Road West, Ramsbottom, BL0 9QZ. The hours of work for both posts are 10 per week. 6:00am till 8:00am for post one and 3.30pm-5.30pm or 5.30pm-7.30pm for the second post You must be physically capable of undertaking the duties required. Relevant experience is an advantage; however, we are prepared to train the suitable applicant. The Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff to share this commitment. Appointment is subject to a satisfactory disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service’ In order to support budget reductions in Local Government, the Council looked at many ways to reduce spending that minimised the need to reduce employee numbers or impact on services.  There are two measures which have been put in place which are applicable to all staff up to and including the Chief Executive: • ? Incremental progression within grades has been frozen until April 2014 and
• all employees are required to take an additional 3 days (unpaid) annual leave.  This can be taken at any time during the leave year; the cost of these additional days is spread over 12 months or pro rata to your start date.
