Lecturer or Senior Lecturer

Aside from its research and knowledge transfer/consultancy activities, the Department of Economics is a major provider of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Economics. It also contributes to teaching on other degree programmes across the University.

Appointed staff will be expected to teach core areas of economics, including econometrics. Research interests can be in any area of economics.

Candidates will have a relevant postgraduate degree and will be expected to teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The successful candidate will have very good communication skills in English language, be able to motivate students, be willing to embrace change and have the ability to work in a team.

Appointed staff will be expected to fully participate in the research/knowledge transfer and consultancy activities of Portsmouth Business School.
