A Lecturer in Geology with particular expertise in the areas of sedimentology, basin analysis and petroleum geology is required. The successful candidate will be required to deliver high-quality teaching, and will demonstrate an active and growing research record including publications in high-quality academic journals. They should possess the expertise and qualifications to contribute to the academic development of our undergraduate geoscience programme. Responsibilities will also include active participation in the School’s fieldwork programme (local and overseas). The appointee will be expected to complement and enhance the research activity of the Palaeontology and Sedimentology Research Group, and they will be strongly encouraged to attract external funding to further expand our post-graduate cohort.
