Lecturer in Engineering

Grade: £18053 – £34640 (Subject to Job Evaluation)

Responsible to: PM, Health, Public Services & Engineering

An enthusiastic and experienced Lecturer is required to deliver both theoretical and practical aspects of Engineering on a range of Further Education and Apprenticeship courses, including BTEC National Diplomas and Performing Engineering Operations. The ideal candidate will be someone educated to at least HNC level with industrial experience in an engineering setting coupled with a teaching qualification.

The successful applicant will need to be able to deliver a wide range of engineering related units particularly those related to CAD/CAM/CNC. A genuine desire to support and motivate young people studying programmes from Level 1 through to Level 3 is an essential requirement. Starting salary will be determined by qualifications and experience.
