Responsible to: Additional Learning Support Manager
We are seeking to appoint highly motivated, enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to work flexibly within a committed team in the area of Additional Support.
Successful candidates will have a sound knowledge of support requirements and experience in supporting learners in a formal educational setting. Specific experience in supporting Learners with ADHD, Autism, Aspergers, Challenging Behaviour or Dyslexia would be advantageous.
Candidates will hold, or be willing to work towards the Level 3 Certificate in Learning Support or equivalent and be qualified to and operating at level 2 in Numeracy and Literacy.
Successful candidates will be employed on a support contract with hours of work dependent on candidates’ particular skills and knowledge and support needs of the College.
