Head of Health, Safety and Wellbeing

Health, Safety and Wellbeing of staff, students and visitors is a key priority at Bournemouth University and fundamental to our success. We have an opportunity for an exceptional professional to undertake a vital role to ensure effective management of Heath, Safety and Wellbeing across the University. With responsibility for a small team of staff, you will provide strategic direction to improve governance and performance and provide advice and guidance to continually develop and improve the management of health, safety and wellbeing.
You will have significant experience gained at a professional level in a similar environment, possess a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent and have attained CMIOSH status. You will possess the credibility and skill necessary to influence at all levels and have considerable expertise in engaging others and communicating your ideas to ensure delivery of an excellent service through your drive and enthusiasm. A proven track record of providing Health and Safety support and delivery of measurable improvements in health, safety and wellbeing are are essential together with a flexible, proactive approach and ability to achieve results.
