Provide executive support for educational excellence.
Providing first class support to the Principal and Chief Executive, you’ll be instrumental to the smooth running of the Stoke on Trent College Group. The Group includes Stoke on Trent College, two Studio Colleges and the Discovery Academy (an 11-16 school). You’ll ensure our most senior managers benefit from all the secretarial and administrative assistance they need to drive the Group to greater successes.
Yours will be a highly varied and responsible role. It will call for regular liaison with senior managers, Board staff and external organisations, as well as line management of a dedicated administrative team. Organising the CEO’s diary and scheduling the annual calendar of business activities, you’ll play a hands-on role in arranging everything from meetings to travel. You’ll coordinate and create a range of valuable presentations, documents and reports. You’ll manage correspondence and disseminate information through channels including telephone, email and websites. And you’ll develop our office systems, ensuring we benefit from an enhanced approach to filing and data management.
Qualified to degree level in a relevant subject, you have a proven ability to supervise an administrative team and provide high level support including diary management and minute taking. Enthusiastic and organised, with a collaborative approach, you are adept at multi-tasking and comfortable working in a busy environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with sensitive and confidential matters are essential. Proficiency in the use of internet-based research tools and the Microsoft Office suite is vital.
