Development Officer - Trust and Foundation

Bournemouth University’s Alumni & Development Office is responsible for managing alumni relations and securing donations for a range of great projects. We are restructuring our team and need a Trust Fundraiser with a successful track record in generating gifts.

You will be responsible for initiating and implementing a trusts programme which is an area we have not capitalised on before, so there is great potential for growth. You will need to have experience in working with trusts and foundations plus major donor fundraising and contact network research. You will have a track record of excellent donor cultivation and stewardship and be used to securing a wide range of gifts from funders.

You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be confident in communicating with people at all levels including high net worth individuals. You will need experience of working with project budgets and producing successful applications for funders along with good IT skills and be happy to work flexible hours when required.
