Deputy Dean (Education)

The School of Health & Social Care (HSC) is central to this vision, offering a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in a variety of health professions, social work, sociology, public health, early years, nutrition and exercise science. We have an active research community with approximately 100 doctoral level students and are committed to service improvement/ practice development, working with health and social care providers regionally and nationally to achieve this aim.
Working closely with the Dean of HSC and Senior Team, the Deputy Dean (Education) will play a key role in shaping and implementing the School’s strategic plans, providing leadership in innovative education, quality enhancement and the overarching management of educational activities within the School.
Candidates will be proven academics, have an international profile at professorial level in one of the School’s academic disciplines and will demonstrate excellent management and leadership skills.
