AT BU OUR VISION is to CREATE a stimulating, challenging and rewarding University experience in a world class learning community, through sharing a unique fusion of education, research and professional practice and inspiring our students and staff TO ENRICH THE WORLD.
Bournemouth University is in an exciting period in its development as an innovative institution committed to academic excellence. We have set in motion an ambitious plan that will support the development of high quality academic programmes and build on areas of academic strength and potential. As part of this process Psychology has expanded rapidly both in terms of research activity and number of students studying undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
We are currently seeking an individual to provide teaching support to students while also providing technical support for EEG, eye tracking and other experimental equipment. Applications from individuals with dual expertise in psychology and programming are therefore particularly welcome, and job sharing may also be considered. You should have a first degree in Psychology and ideally have some experience of teaching and a commitment to inspiring and motivating students to learn about psychology.
If appropriate, it may be possible for suitable applicants to become involved in ongoing research and/or register to study part-time for a PhD.
For an informal discussion and further information please contact Professor Siné McDougall (Tel: 01202 966781, email: smcdougall@bournemouth.ac.uk / http://www.bournemouth.ac.uk/prc/ ).
