Cover Supervisor

Required for 1st September, 2012

Post 2: Cover Supervisor Term Time Only.  31 hours Grade G Points 18-25 £12,470 – £15,637.

We wish to appoint a Cover Supervisor who will play a key role as we move to good, and onto outstanding, as a school. This is an incredibly exciting time in Walkden’s development leading on from our move into our new building in September 2011 when we also moved to vertical tutor groups and a zonal model for our curriculum.  The school is looking to appoint committed individuals to undertake the role of Teaching Assistant within the Special Educational Needs department and will be required to provide support for pupils with Special Educational Needs in a variety of situations and a Cover Supervisor to supervise classes in the event of short-term teacher absence.
 
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Successful candidates are subject to an enhanced disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau.
