Social Worker, Duty & Assessment Team

An opportunity to join a stable and commited designated Duty and Assessment Team within Children’s Social Care.
As a qualified Social Worker, you will be required to have experience of working with children and their families, a good knowledge of the Assessment Framework in relation to both Children in Need and Children in Need of Safeguarding, as well as an ability to work in partnership with parents/carers and other agencies. Good report writing, IT, communication skills, and experience of, or a desire to learn how to work with children and their families using a Signs of Safety model.
Our team has only this vacancy and are performing at a high standard, with workers who are enthusiastic and committed to safeguarding children and improving outcomes. It’s a busy team with opportunities to do varied and interesting assessments yet with managable case loads.
