Are you a qualified social worker or just about to complete your social work qualification and looking for starting point to your career?
You will be an energetic and motivated individual who will join this friendly and supportive Team to cover maternity leave. Cases are varied and include Children in Need, Looked After Children, Child Protection and some court work. Many of the children and young people that we support have profound disabilities and complex needs and you will need to have had experience with working with disabled children and their families. You will play key role in assessing, supporting and developing care plans for children and their carers.
You will receive a thorough induction, regular supervision and professional development and be part of a dynamic team working closely with Health, Schools and other services.
Full time post to cover Maternity leave until end May 2010
