Family Worker, After Care Team

The After Care Team provides advice and support to young people who have left care and are moving on into independence and adulthood. You will be part of a small dedicated team sitting alongside colleagues from other agencies who also work with this age group.
Your role is to work with young people to assist them in developing the skills to care for themselves, manage their budget, attend college or work experience or obtain and maintain employment. You will need experience of adolescents or young adults and enthusiasm and commitment.
Bracknell Forest has a commitment to supporting staff to achieve the best. You will have regular supervision and relevant training to support you to do the job.
Maternity cover until August 2010.
