Behaviour Specialist – Aiming High for Disabled Children

Bracknell Forest is committed to keeping children within their own families. With funding from the Aiming High for Disabled Children initiative we are developing a small team to support children with disabilities and their families manage challenging behaviour.

Working closely with an Educational Psychologist, the Behaviour Specialist will play a key role in assessing, developing and implementing co-ordinated behavioural management plans across families, carers, short break providers and other agencies involved.

Whilst funding for this post is time limited it is hoped that additional funding will be secured if the team makes a real difference.

Temporary contract until March 2011.
