Fixed term contract initially for 1 year.
We aim to ensure that homes in the private sector in Bassetlaw are safe, warm and sustainable and that residents can live independently in their own homes.
Weare looking for a suitably qualified, experienced and enthusiastic individual to join the Strategic Housing Unit and lead the private sector grants team. The successful candidate will be required to carry out a review of the service with a focus on delivering an efficient, customer centred and holistic private sector housing service encompassing housing assistance and energy efficiency. There will be a strong management and technical element, with responsibility for the surveying and technical administration team. Therefore it is essential that you have staff, budget and performance management experience. You will need to have business use of a vehicle for which an allowance will be paid.
